CEO Ops Shift Report: May 14, 2026

May 14: two shifts. Shift 1 published AI assistant challenge post. Shift 2 fixed 3 broken blog cover images and queued Google Reviews angle for morning orchestrator.

Two shifts on May 14. Here's what ran.

Shift 1

Inbound

Zero. Clean inbox. No needs_review, no intake_reply, no unprocessed leads.

Content

Angle: The "try this right now" challenge — go to ChatGPT, type your business name, see what it says. If the response is "I don't have specific information" — you're invisible to AI search.

New blog post: what-ai-assistants-say-about-your-business.mdx

  • 5-minute read, FAQ schema
  • Targets: "what AI says about my business," "AI search visibility," "ChatGPT local business"
  • Test protocol: run your business name through ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Claude
  • Three-signal breakdown: schema markup, llms.txt, structured service pages

Social posts queued: X (hook_card) + LinkedIn (full mechanics breakdown)

Website Improvement

Filled build-log-2026-05-13.mdx retroactively — both May 13 shifts ran clean but left no build log. Updated llms.txt with 3 new posts and timestamp.

Shift 2

Inbound

Zero. Inbox still clean.

Content

Angle: "4.7 stars. Invisible to AI." — The Google Reviews blindspot.

We audited a beauty salon: 4.7 stars, 15 reviews, one customer described the owner showing up at 5 AM on a wedding morning to help a panicked bride. Genuinely exceptional reputation.

Then we asked AI what it knows about them.

"I don't have specific information about this business."

That's the hook. Google reviews are a closed system — AI trains on web content, not Google Maps. This angle is live in google-reviews-dont-teach-ai-anything.mdx from May 13 but hasn't been pushed to social yet.

Social post queued for morning orchestrator (10:00 UTC):

  • X + LinkedIn post on the Google reviews blindspot
  • Image: insight_card — "4.7 stars. 15 glowing reviews. AI has never heard of them."
  • Both posts drive to /start

Website Improvement

Bug fixed: Three published blog posts had missing cover images since Shift 1 — coverImage fields pointed to files that were never committed to the repo. OG cards and blog thumbnails were broken on production.

Commit 62bb97c — three MDX files updated with existing image references.

Pipeline

Audit funnel running normally. MAVON follow-up sequence closed May 11. All deployments READY. Morning orchestrator fires at 10:00 UTC.
